Excellent Heater for Cold Areas, Very Reliable

This is the third Holmes unit I have had over the last 10 years. Only 1 of them has died and that was due to the on/off switch being designed incorrectly. The new model I just purchased has changed this design and it should not be a problem. I run them in my wood shop (hang them from the wall) and even though I have to blow the dust out they continue to work for years. The controls let you fine tune the temperature and the watts used. They put out a lot of heat. Two of them heat a 3 car garage which is not tightly sealed. These are robust units, not the wimpy types you see at home improvement stores. If you have small children I would hang them since the protective wire screen can get hot.

quartz space heater

the heater arrived in a reasonable amount of time, it works great and overall im satisfied with it but there was a small dent (lower left portion )in the gray mesh metal on the front of the heater probably occured during shipping and handling.
