Works well.
By Michael F
I purchased this blower to add it to a mid 90's Heat-n-Glo gas fireplace that never had a blower installed. The blower came very quickly from the seller and I installed it in 5 minutes. It is a little tricky to manuever the blower to where it needs to go, but not a fault of this blower.
The blower is quiet and works well. It does push some air and helps to distribute heat.

Blower motor replacement
By G. Bricker
This blower was purchased to replace a 20-year old identical Regency Wood Stove blower motor. It is exactly the same motor and blower. However, you will need to retain some of the old motor wiring to cut & crimp. The new motor comes with just a crimped power cord and an attached ground wire. You will need to cannibalize the old wiring in order to use your existing power switch and thermal overload. A minor nuisance.
The new blower might also have to be rotated 90 degrees on the baseplate. In order to gain access to the bolts, you have to pinch and remove the cotter pin and then pull (hard) on the plastic blades to remove. Another minor nuisance. Make sure you have a magnetized socket screwdriver handy.
Altogether, it took my fat fingers about 30 minutes to install. The new blower is whisper quiet.

Lower Gas Bill
By Ruben Blackmon
The hardest thing about these blowers was making sure I had the correct one for the fireplaces I have. I received it and had very little trouble installing it. Again, the manufacturer make the most problems. It works better than I could have imagined, to include all three blower settings. It was so good that I ordered another one because I have two fireplaces. Recommend that installation instructions from the manufacturer is downloaded before you order because the blower comes only with instructions on how to mount it and plug it in.
